Poem 3: A river and music

A river and music

A river is like music
Twisting and turning
A sweet melody whispering through the reeds
Nates splashing on the banks
It rushes fast with an angry tune
It flows slowly with the whistle of a flute
It sings us a song
With a quiet breeze
A rhythm drums with the current
Silent voices canon through the tumbling pebbles
Like the keys on a piano
The waves make tiny hills on the water
